Every bag of Native Brew Co. is a direct line from those highlands to your cup — pure, unblended, and unapologetically bold.

Know Your Beans

What Makes Each Bean
Different?

Not all coffee is the same. The bean type shapes everything — the flavor, the strength, the aroma, and how it feels in your cup. Here's what you need to know before you order.

🌿
Arabica
Smooth & Refined

The most popular coffee in the world. Arabica beans are grown at high altitudes and are known for their mild, smooth, slightly sweet flavor with hints of fruit and sugar. Lower caffeine, higher complexity.

Flavor: Sweet, fruity, mild
Caffeine: Moderate
Best for: Pour over, drip, espresso
Robusta
Bold & Powerful

Strong, earthy, and intense. Robusta has nearly double the caffeine of Arabica and produces a thick, full-bodied cup with a deep, bitter edge. It's the backbone of many espresso blends and traditional brews.

Flavor: Strong, earthy, bitter
Caffeine: High
Best for: Boiling, espresso, French press
🌺
Liberica
Rare & Distinctive

One of the rarest coffee species in the world — and the Philippines is one of the few places it still grows. Liberica has a bold, woody, floral aroma with a full-bodied and slightly smoky flavor unlike anything else.

Flavor: Woody, floral, smoky
Caffeine: Moderate–High
Best for: Boiling, French press

Custom Blend
The Best of Both

Blends combine the strengths of multiple beans into one perfect cup. Our upcoming signature blend — 70% Arabica / 30% Robusta — pairs smooth sweetness with a bold, powerful kick. The best of both worlds.

Flavor: Balanced — smooth yet bold
Caffeine: High
Best for: All brewing methods

The Story Behind the Brand

Rooted in the Highlands,
Brewed for Everyone.

"Real origin. Real roast. Real coffee — your way."

This is us — a small family from the highlands and lowlands of northern Luzon, with a deep love for real coffee and the belief that where a bean comes from matters.

He's a licensed pharmacist who approaches coffee with the same precision he brings to his craft — nothing added, nothing wasted. She's a native of the Cordillera, where coffee culture runs as deep as the mountain roots. She didn't just grow up near the farms — she grew up knowing them.

What began as sharing good coffee from the highlands of the Cordillera became something bigger — a brand that sources intentionally, brews purposefully, and never forgets where it came from.

Native Brew Co. is their answer to a world full of blends and shortcuts. Real coffee. Real origin. Real people behind it.

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked
Questions.

No — this is 100% pure coffee, not instant. Native Brew Co. comes in ground or whole bean form. Ground is ready to brew right away — by boiling, French press, drip maker, espresso machine, or pour over. Whole bean is for those with a grinder who want maximum freshness. The real way. The good way.
If you ordered ground coffee, the classic way is traditional boiling — add 1–2 tbsp per cup, boil gently for 2–3 minutes, rest, then strain. You can also use a French press, drip coffee maker, espresso machine, or pour over.

If you ordered whole beans, grind them first to your preferred coarseness before brewing. Check our How to Brew section and the "Before You Order" grind size guide for full details.
Yes! We ship anywhere in the Philippines via Shopee. Just place your order online and we'll take care of the rest.

Note: The 50g and 100g sizes (ground only) are currently available in-store at our partner stores in Quirino Province. Whole beans are available from 250g and up.
Absolutely none. Pure ground coffee beans — nothing added, nothing removed. No sugar, no creamer, no blends. Just real coffee exactly as it should be.
Each bag has a shelf life of 12 months from the roast date (printed on every pack). Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

Once opened: ground coffee is best consumed within 4–6 weeks. Whole beans stay fresh longer — up to 8–12 weeks — since they're only ground right before brewing, preserving the aroma and flavor.
Ground coffee is already milled and ready to brew — just boil, press, drip, or pour. Best for most home setups with no grinder needed.

Whole beans are unground and need a coffee grinder before brewing. The advantage is maximum freshness and aroma — beans stay fresh longer and you control the grind size to match your brewing method. Ideal for espresso machines, pour over, and French press users who want the best possible cup.

If you're new to specialty coffee, start with Arabica — it's smooth, mildly sweet, and easy to enjoy without sugar. If you prefer a strong, bold cup (the classic Filipino morning brew), go with Robusta. Want something truly unique? Try Liberica — it has a one-of-a-kind woody, floral character that's rare even globally. Not sure? Our Custom Blend (coming soon) will be the perfect middle ground.
Light Roast — Bright and fruity. Great for pour over and drip. Highlights the bean's natural origin character.

Medium Roast — Balanced sweetness and body. The most versatile option, works with almost any brewing method.

Medium-Dark Roast — Richer, bolder, with a slight bittersweet edge. Great for French press and espresso.

Dark Roast — Intense, full-bodied, low acidity. The classic strong cup — ideal for traditional boiling and espresso lovers.
Coarse — Best for French press and cold brew. Chunky grind that produces a clean, less bitter cup.

Medium — Best for drip coffee makers and pour over. Balanced extraction, smooth flavor.

Fine — Best for espresso machines and moka pots. Dense grind for a concentrated, intense cup.

Not sure which to pick? Check our How to Brew section and the "Before You Order" grind size guide.
These are three different species of coffee, each with a distinct personality:

Arabica — Smooth, sweet, mildly acidic. The most widely consumed coffee in the world. Lower caffeine.

Robusta — Bold, earthy, intense. Nearly double the caffeine of Arabica. Great for strong, traditional brews.

Liberica — Rare, woody, floral, slightly smoky. The Philippines is one of the only countries where it still grows. A truly unique experience.
